Voting Closes Tonight for Longmont Ford’s September Athlete of the Month!

Each athlete has been nominated for outstanding athletic and/or academic performance. Read about this month’s athletes below, then click the “Vote Now” link to vote! On behalf of Longmont Ford – Thank you for your continued support of our local athletics!

Below are this month’s nominations:


Sage Yazzie / Longmont High School / Football

Quarterback, led us to an exciting win over Ft. Collins in OT, at Ft. Collins. He is a great student. 3.6 weighted GPA. 

Gabriel Sosa / Skyline High School / Soccer

Gabriel had a hat trick at our latest game VS Evergreen where the program reached its 100th win. 4 goals 2 assists in 3 games so far.


Angie Mitchell / Longmont High School / Softball

Angie is our pitcher and one of our best hitters. Batting .630 with 11 RBIs and 1 home run. Her GPA is 4.2 she’s currently ranked 31 academically.

Hannah Paton / Lyons High School / Softball

Senior, team captain, batting leadoff that sets the stage for the rest of the team.  She leads on and off the field. .636 Batting average, 31 stolen bases on 31 attempts, 25 runs scored

Samantha Powell / Skyline High School / Softball

Samantha is an amazing student athlete. She helps others get better every day while working hard to better herself. She is a very selfless person and wants the best for everyone around her. Everyone is better because of her and her leadership off and on the field. She also is ranked in the top five in the state for stats and has let us multiple times in assists, hits and stolen bases. BA.789  Slugging% 1.000 Fielding % .974   Stolen Bases 23 of 24.

Katie Archer / Skyline High School / Softball

Katie is an all state all academic athlete. She is the true example of what it means to work hard in and outside of the classroom. Her leadership on the field has helped lead us to wins on the field and inside our program. She helps those around her in school and on the field to be better. She does everything in life with a passion and wants the best for those around her. BA.286 . Slugging % .500 .  Fielding %.956

Katie Nieuwlandt / Skyline High School / Cross Country

Katie has led the way this entire summer and into the season as a model of hard work and consistency.  On a young team, she has been a perfect example of what it takes to be successful.
