Jake Chesler – Golf – Frederick High School
Jake shows leadership and sportsmanship as a leader on the course. Jake is a two year golf award winner. Jake finished 10th at the 2019 4A State Golf Tournament and the previous year was 7th. He also won two events this year, the Frederick Classic, where he broke the school record for low round with a (4 under) 67 and the Weld County Tournament with (1 under) 71. Jake was 2nd in TriValley League for season stroke average and help lead the Warriors to their first league title as well as regional runner-ups and 4th place team finish at State.
Giorgio Spensieri – Cross Country – Twin Peaks Charter
Giorgio was second Team All Conference as freshman. He finished 11th in the league meet. Has led our team from almost the beginning, and will continue to improve. We are looking forward to the future for Jo.
Alex Workman – Cross Country – Frederick High School
Alex is the glue that holds are cross country team together. He is a leader both on and off the cross country course. He is highly motivated, loyal, honest, and hardworking. After high school, he plans to serve our country in the military.
Connor McCormick – Cross Country – Longmont High School
Connor joined Cross Country for the first time this season and right from the get go he has emerged as not just the top runner on Longmont’s team but one of the top runners in the state. The big meet for him personally came in 6th place at the St. Vrain invite with a time of 16:23. He was the best sophomore in the race. The highlight of the season for him came at the regional meet. He finished in 3rd place and led Longmont’s team to its first state qualification in four years. Connor has great character, he always celebrates more for a team victory or placement than an individual placement. He is a young leader for Longmont running and his hard work has paid off.
Samantha Powell – Softball – Skyline High School
Samantha had an amazing year and has been a big leader for our program. Without her leadership we would not be where we are now and be competitive in the state and our league. She helps everyone around her to be better by devoting her time to her school, her teammates and her studies.
Zoe Gibbs – Volleyball – Niwot High School
Zoe is constantly going above and beyond the expectations on and off the court. She is a natural leader and is highly respected by her teammates and classmates.
Karlynn Trujillo – Poms (Dance) – Erie High School
Karlynn is a straight A student and Varsity Athlete who has had to overcome major health obstacles in order to participate and compete. She never gives up and is at every practice even on her worst days when she is physically barely able to walk or function. She is always positive and never complains. She is a true example of what strength is in an athlete.
Maddie Kuehl – Softball – Silver Creek High School
Heads into the post season with her team hosting. She present holds a 14-4 record with opponents hitting just .197 against her with 183 strikeouts
